The 2019 Computex Taipei kicked off on Tuesday and runs from 5/28/2019-6/1/2019. This year GIGABYTE is holding its showcase at the Nangang Exhibition Hall 2 and invited partners AMD and Phison to the AORUS XTREME POWER press event to present the newest AORUS gaming products. Featured products included the new X570 AORUS series motherboards with support for the AMD 3rd Gen. Ryzen CPUs, world’s first X570 compatible PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and AORUS tactical gaming monitors.

AORUS X570 Series Motherboards

• GIGABYTE released the X570 AORUS Motherboards lineup including: X570 AORUS XTREME, MASTER, ULTA, ELITE, PRO, PRO WIFI, ITX mini form factor I PRO WIFI
• X570 AORUS XTREME MASTER uses a 16-phase digital power design with each phase capable of handling 70A for a 4% performance improvement.
• X570 AORUS XTREME uses a metal heatsink design and covers 85% of the power management area.

AORUS Gen 4 NVMe AIC 8TB

• Exterior design looks similar to a compact graphics card, has a turbo fan for active heat dissipation.
• Utilizes PCIe 4.0 and its high bandwidth. With PCIe Gen4 x16, users can install 4 PCIe Gen4 SSDs with up to 8TB capacity.
• With huge improvements in performance, four SSDs can deliver 15,376 sequential read speeds as well as 16,184 MB/s sequential write speeds. Transmission speeds are 5 times faster than PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD. A single PCIe Gen4 SSD can deliver 5,000 MB/s sequential read speeds and 4,400 MB/s sequential write speed performance.

AORUS NVMe M.2 Gen4 SSD

• Introducing 2TB and 1TB capacities, gold colored exterior, heatsinks covering both sides for improved heat dissipation, ensuring the best SSD performance. RGB has not been implemented to give the SSD a more understated, simple look.
• Produced under the partnership with PHISON and using fully body copper heatsinks, AORUS PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD uses PS5016-E16 controllers, support PCIe Gen4 x4, offer up to 8TB capacity, and uses TOSHIBA BICS4 memory particles.
• A single PCIe Gen4 SSD delivers up to 5,000MB/s read speed and 4,400MB/s write speed, much faster than the Gen3 SSD’s 3,500MB/s read speeds and 3,300MB/s write speeds, for the best in storage performance that users can enjoy.

AORUS Tactical Gaming Monitors：AORUS CV27Q、AORUS CV27F and AORUS KD25F

• Compared to standard gaming monitors, tactical gaming monitors offer excellent features for gamers such as the OSD Sidekick, Black Equalizer 2.0 technology, giving them a diverse set of tactical gaming features to work with.
• After the release of the wildly popular AORUS AD27QD, AORUS added three new tactical gaming monitors: AORUS CV27Q、AORUS CV27F and AORUS KD25F. AORUS CV27Q and AORUS CV27F feature a curved panel design.
• AORUS CV27Q is a 27 inch tactical gaming monitor from AORUS and features 1500R, 2560x1440 QHD display, a curved VA panel, a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 90% DCI-P3 color spectrum, AMD FreeSync2 HDR support.
• AORUS CV27Q is slightly different from the AORUS AD27QD. CV27Q is more understated with a simpler look and the RGB is also more low profile.
• AORUS CV27F and AORUS CV27Q feature FullHD for 1920x1080 display.
• AORUS KD25F is the most advanced FPS focused monitor designed for FPS lovers. It comes with a 24.5 inch, FHD 1920x1080 full display, uses the fastest Color TN Panel, reducing response time to an impressive 0.5ms(MPRT) and provides a 240Hz refresh rate, native 8bits, and 100% sRGB Color Spectrum, which enables the KD25F to deliver unrivalled display quality and response time. It supports FreeSync and G-Sync technology to prevent shearing.
• AORUS KD25F is more compact compared to the AD27QD, making it great for smaller configurations. RGB Fusion lights up the backside of the monitor.
• All 3 tactical gaming monitors come with exclusive AORUS technology.
• Black Equalizer 2.0 Technology enables synchronous, single screen processing of 1296 blocks of black balance, making the darker parts more obvious and sharpening the details so that users can enjoy more photorealistic display quality for a more immersive gaming experience.

AMD introduced the highly anticipated 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs on 5/27 with Corporate VP Chris Kilburn and Client Computing Director Travis Kirsch announced, “GIGABYTE is the first to work closely with us to lead in development of the first Gen4 Platform!”

AORUS X570 Series Motherboards

We’ve been playing Counter-Strike since 2005 and at the time it was 2Ghz. At the time, if you had a CPU, you felt like you were a pro. Once we reached the four core era, we started fragging against online players in Battlefield: Bad Company2. Once the 8 core era arrived, gaming and streaming became mainstream. As we enter the 12 core era, we have 3.8GHz, can use FHD while streaming, and run various programs at once.

The flagship X570 AORUS XTREME motherboard boasts a 16-phase, all Infineon digital power design with each phase capable of managing up to 70A for lower impedance and improved balance. With 16-phases to work with, the motherboard reduces the loading per phase so that less heat is generated, improving the overall power efficiency, durability and service life of the motherboard. This allows for better performance and better overclocking and enables users to maximize the overclocking potential on the new 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processors without the concerns of an unstable power supply or high temperatures causing overclocking failures or diminished performance.

Not only that, the 16-phase design comes with better power balance and when compared to an 8-phase design, the 16-phase design on the AORUS X570 provides extra cooling so that highest temperature is 84 degrees Celsius.

AORUS X570 comes with an exclusive, advanced thermal design. Front side temperatures hit a max of 64 degrees Celsius, which is a reduction of 36 degrees Celsius due to the excellent thermal design. This design provides the best power management for the CPU, lowering temperatures on the power module and the PWM to ensure the best performance.

X570 AORUS XTREME has a comprehensive thermal solution with the direct touch heatpipes making contact with the X570 chipset heatsinks, upgraded LAIRD thermal pad, Fins-Array heatsink, I/O shield, 3 sets of Thermal Guard. NanoCarbon Baseplate provides added cooling for the VRM.

Each area of the heatsink is connected, covering 85% of the power management area to maximize heat dissipation, and the board uses a metal heatsink design and 16-phase power design.

This time GIGABYTE’s AORUS X570 Motherboard lineup includes the Xtreme, Master, Ultra, Elite, PRO, PRO WIFI, and mini ITX I PRO WIFI.

AORUS Gen4 NVMe AIC 8TB SSD

Set to be presented is a high capacity storage solution developed through the partnership of GIGABYTE, AMD, and Phison, the ultra fast Gen 4 SSD, the AORUS Gen 4 NVMe AIC 8TB.

The Gen4 AIC SSD enables users to install 4 PCIe Gen4 SSDs with the expansion capabilities of PCIe Gen4 x16, giving them up to 8TB capacity devices. The SSD’s backplate, stacked fins design, and fan gives it the best heat dissipation ensuring the best performance. This high-speed, high-capacity AIC SSD is perfect for content creators, video editors, professional designers etc, and provides read speeds up to 15,000MB.

AORUS NVMe M.2 Gen4 SSD 2TB/1TB

This Computex, GIGABYTE AORUS is releasing its Gen 4 SSD, AORUS NVMe M.2 Gen4 SSD with 2TB and 1TB capacities, providing the fastest boot times for gaming. Using a PHISON PS5016-E16 controller, supporting PCIe Gen4 x4, offering 8TB, and using TOSHIBA BICS4 memory particles, to deliver 5000MB and 4400 read speeds for 40% faster performance than the previous gen.

Reading data at high speeds means effective heat dissipation is highly important. Compared to SSDs with single side coverage or smaller heatsinks, AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD provides superior heat dissipation so it can mitigate the heat generated at high temperatures when the SSD is in operation, extending the product lifespan and bolstering the SSD performance.

AORUS Tactical Gaming Monitors - CV27Q、CV27F、KD25F

Following the excellent response to the AORUS AD27QD, GIGABYTE will showcase three tactical monitors at Computex: two curved monitors, the CV27Q and the CV27F, as well as the FPS focused KD25F.

Not your typical gaming monitor, these new monitors deliver GIGABYTE’s finest tactical gaming monitor assets such as the OSD sidekick, ANC Active Noise Cancelling, Black Equalizer 2.0 Technology and more so that gamers have the edge over their opponents.

Black Equalizer 2.0 Technology enables synchronous, single screen processing of 1296 blocks of black balance, making the darker parts more obvious and sharpening the details so that users can enjoy more photorealistic display quality for a more immersive gaming or movie-watching experience.

AORUS CV27Q 27-inch 1500R tactical gaming monitor comes with 2560x1440 display, uses a VA panel, 165Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response. It also comes with 90% DCI-P3 wide color display and supports AMD FreeSync2 HDR technology.

The other AORUS KD25F is designed for FPS gamers with its 24.5 inch FHD display (1920x1080), 0.5ms response, 240Hz refresh rate, and support for FreeSync and G-Sync. It also comes with all the essential supported technologies for FPS gamers.
